Hitchcock High School’s Homecoming 2024 will take place from October 7th to October 11th, culminating in the big game against Hallettsville on Friday, October 11th. Mark your calendars and get ready for a week full of spirit, tradition, and Bulldog pride!

As we approach the new school year, we want to emphasize the critical importance of regular attendance. At Hitchcock ISD, we believe that consistent attendance is key to a student's academic success and overall growth. Did you know that missing just two days a month can lead to over a year of lost instruction by the time a student graduates? This year, we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed by strictly enforcing state attendance laws across all campuses.

If you’ve been thinking about enrolling your child in the Kids First Head Start program, now is the perfect time! For the 2024-2025 school year, starting August 12th, the program will soon be able to officially offer extended hours from 7am to 5pm each day to accommodate working parents
